General Summary:
The Senior VoIP Engineer is a technical expert in the area of architecture, design, configuration, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of local and wide area network, wireless network and network security components of Cisco Voice over IP (VoIP).

Specific Job Duties:
This key position is  responsible for technical operations support and performance management of   all elements of the VoIP Network.

Qualifications and Education:
• Bachelor's degree in a related telecommunications engineering field;
• Demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical tasks and 5 or more years of experience working in a Cisco environment also with support of telephony in a Cisco Unified Communications System environment;
• CCNA/CCNA-Voice Certification;
• CCNP/CCVP preferred;
• Must have excellent written and communication skills.

Must have a thorough understanding of VoIP and traditional call flows and signaling protocols which include MGCP, SCCP, H.323, SIP/H.248, RTP/RTCP, Voice TDM including ISDN, T1/T3, DTMF and /FXS/FXO, TCP/IP, LAN Switching, Routing protocols, L2/L3, device configuration, VLAN, ACL, etc.
Must have strong knowledge in the following: VoIP Telephony, IP Communicator/Soft-phone, Cisco routers and switches, data networking with telephony.
STRONG KNOWLEDGE and combination experience of TDM - signaling PRI, CAS(DTMF), FXS/FXO, PVDM, Data - LAN/WAN and VoIP - SIP/RTP.
Manage, configure, and support a multi-site cluster of Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity Connections, Cisco Presence, Cisco Emergency Responder, Cisco LAN switches (core, distribution and access), Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco routers, Cisco VPN Concentrator and voice gateway support/video gateway. Must be familiar with SIP IP-Trunking.
Full understanding of VoIP architecture, including design, support and daily operations.
Must be an expert with IPv4 and IPv6 is a plus.
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and be able to cross-train when necessary, but also be able to manage time wisely and operate individually without attention required.
Must be able to provide reports and detailed documentation, Visio a plus.

Skills Required:
• SIP, RTP, RTCP, ISDN, FXS, FXO, TCP/IP, MGCP, H.323, SCCP, ISDN, PPP  
• Cisco Soft-Phone, CUPC, VoIP Telephony, Cisco Call Manager 8.5, Cisco Unity Connections 8.5, Cisco Presence 8.5, Cisco Emergency Responder 8.5 and other UCS family products.
• TCP/IP, MPLS, Ethernet environments including layer 2 and layer 3 troubleshooting and support.  
• Troubleshooting all UCS components also including support, configuration, optimization and design of an entire multi-cluster UCS environment with Disaster Recovery and off-site configuration and planning.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and thoroughly and must be able to provide documentation when required.
• Must be familiar with HP and IBM server platforms MCS7825, 7835 and 7845 hardware
• Must be familiar with server Virtualization configuration and support.
• Must be familiar with CoS and QoS designs, configurations and support.
• Must be familiar with Call Center setup and operations in a Cisco UCS environment.

Pre-Sales Engineer - (Show Details)

General Summary:
Involved in all procedures and initiatives before selling products. The pre-sales engineer helps sales force to improve products, working with sales personnel and engineering team, provisioning and implementation to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provides technical guidance account representatives, account managers and account executives and assists in pre-sales activities.
• Reviews the current status of client technology processes
• Plans and modifies product configurations to meet client requirements.
• Lead in the development of presentations, RFP design and responses, quotes and customer proposals.
• Train new Sales Engineers or Sales personnel on new technology.
• Assist in new product development.  Other duties, as needed.

Required Skills:

• Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree or professional certification in engineering, or a closely related field.
• Three years of work experience in "pre-sales" environment.
• Technical knowledge in telecommunications, VOIP, Cisco solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and conversational skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to travel up to 25% of the work week – some overnights.
• Interest in continuing education in technology.

Project Coordinator - (Show Details)

General Summary:
Responsible for the implementation of new Fiber Optic voice and internet services. This includes handling multiple installations and coordination between multiple departments. This position mainly involves:
• Creation and execution of project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing requirements
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project.
• Maintain communication between the customer and sales team of the project status
• Host calls or meetings as needed for project completion
• Effectively applies our installation framework and enforce standards
• Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
• Tracking and reporting project status on a weekly basis
• Possess awareness of telecommunication technologies

Required Skills:
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining high level of detail accuracy;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to deal with internal and external customers;
• Ability to use email;
• Ability to communicate with customers and vendors over the phone;
• Ability to work with other team members;
• Self-motivation;
• Flexibility;
• High attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of three years' experience in related fields such as Dispatch, Scheduling, Office Manager
• Microsoft Office including but not limited to Word, and Excel.
• Administrative knowledge, Data-entry experience preferable.

Success Will Be Measured By:

• Timely and efficient implementations as evidence by customer satisfaction
• Create productive communications between sales and installers.
• Complete Client Documentation immediately after project completion
• Respond to customer requests in a timely fashion.
• Complete installations on or before due date
